LA Web Portal
Description: CRG recently launched
www.experienceLA.com, a new web portal to promote cultural
tourism and public transportation in the LA region to the local,
national and international audiences. The web portal provides
information on attractions and events in the Los Angeles area,
and provides directly usable public transit planning tools
and information. The portal includes a number of custom developed
applications to easily facilitate the management of the portal
including content management features. |

Client/Project: City of Santa Barbara – Financial Management Decision Support System
Description: CRG developed a
new Financial Management Decision Support System (FMDSS) for
the City providing direct
access to critical business information. The system will leverage
the City’s current mainframe financial management application
and deliver web based interactive reports via a datawarehouse.

of Encinitas – Systems Integration and Web Application
Development
Description: CRG
developed a comprehensive E-Government plan for the City
and has provided various technology management services
including network security and management. CRG will be
implementing various projects for the City including
a redesign of the City’s website, development of
a citywide intranet, and implementation of a web-based
decision support system.

County Transportation Authority - Web Based Electronic
Forms Workflow Application (FormsNet)
Description: CRG
developed a web based internal intranet application for
OCTA business forms and processes. The application was
developed using standard web based programming technologies
and tools, and included workflow management, digital
signatures and auto-routing capabilities.

Client/Project: Southern
California Association of Governments—Internet Strategy
and Website Redesign
The Southern California Association of Governments engaged
Civic Resource Group to conduct a comprehensive strategic
analysis of the SCAG Web strategy and website, and prepare
a strategic plan for Internet use throughout the organization.
As part of the project, CRG also prepared all final design
documents for a new, dynamic organization website, including
final graphic design, site information architecture, navigation
templates, content management system requirements and implementation
strategy, homepage and lower level wireframes, accessibility
design guidelines, and page design templates to be used
in coordination with the content management system.

Client/Project: County of Los Angeles - eNotify
CRG was selected to develop and implement the County E-Notification application for the Department of Public Works. The system integrates existing information while allowing front-end personalization for users to receive event notifications and alerts via email or cell phone at a schedule of their choice and only in requested geographic areas. Entirely developed and customized by CRG to the County's preferences, the application also synchronizes road closure data enabling automated alerts.

United Nations – E-Government Research Portal
Description: CRG assisted the United
Nations in its annual survey of 191 member states government
websites including evaluation of online service delivery.
CRG has been commissioned by the UN to develop a dedicated
research portal for researchers and government officials
featuring electronic government information, resources,
trends, and statistics.

Jose State University - Web Portal Strategy and Site Redesign
Phase I
Description: CRG was chosen from among
over 50 national and international competitors to lead
Phase I of the University’s comprehensive Web Strategy
and Redesign Project. The University Website has been chosen
as a major initiative by the President of the University,
and CRG conducted a comprehensive discovery phase, including
stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and online surveys;
additionally, CRG conducted an in-depth benchmarking and
best practices review of what other major universities
were doing with their websites. CRG prepared comprehensive
design documents including site information architecture,
navigation structure, homepage and lower section wireframes,
and content management implementation.

Department of Housing and Urban Development, Verizon Foundation,
Office of Native American Programs (ONAP), Cerritos College – Tribe
Tech Online Education Portal
Description: CRG is leading the strategy,
design and development of this innovative online education
portal for Tribal Governments. The program is a pilot project
sponsored by HUD, the Office of Native American Programs,
Cerritos College, and initially funded by the Verizon Foundation
as part of their Digital Divide initiative.

of West Covina—Financial Management System Replacement
Technology Advisory Services
Description: CRG is assisting the City
through the selection process for replacing the City’s
financial Management System. CRG provided market and vendor
background analysis, RFP writing assistance, and advised
the City throughout the selection process.

Client/Project: Center
for Nonprofit Management—Online Database, E-Commerce,
Web Enablement
Description: CRG is working with the
Center for Nonprofit Management to develop a comprehensive
long-term web-based portal of nonprofit resources throughout
Southern California. The first phase of this project encompassed
creating an interactive online job search and submission
application for online job seekers and potential employers
in the nonprofit sector. A critical element was that the
online system had to be compatible with the Center’s
current system for publishing print classifieds. The system
was designed using a unique database architecture that
allows the Center to simultaneously create and publish
both its print and online versions. |

of Lake Elsinore – Financial Management System Review
and Technology Planning
Description: CRG is providing an analysis
of the City’s Financial Management System and providing
recommendations for improving the City’s business
processes and technology solutions. The project includes
a detailed business process analysis of the City’s
customer services operations.

of Los Angeles Arts Commission – Interactive Cultural
Calendar and Content Management System.
Description: CRG is developing a real-time
interactive arts calendar website for the County of Los
Angeles Arts Commission. The calendar will include a system
for allowing over 2500 cultural organizations to update
their organization and event information in real time.

Client/Project: South Coast Air Quality
Management District (AQMD) – Forms Automation and
Redesign Project
Description: CRG provided technical advisory
services to help streamline AQMD’s forms. The project
included assistance in selection of technologies/platform
and creation of “intelligent” forms for over
60 AQMD forms. CRG redesigned the District’s forms
and added intelligent programming features using standard
web based technologies and customized off the shelf software.

and Technology Management Consulting Services
Description: CRG developed a comprehensive
5 year information technology plan for the City of Thousand
Oaks. In addition CRG is providing selected technology
management services including assistance in the City’s
website redesign.
