The City of Las Vegas forms collaborative to promote cultural tourism based on CRG’s award winning ExperienceLA.com portal

The City of Las Vegas selected Civic Resource Group to assist in the planning of a new cultural tourism portal that will serve as a cornerstone for the City’s burgeoning arts and culture community. The portal is modeled after Experiencela.com where over three thousand arts and culture organizations are connected through a comprehensive online portal and calendaring system allowing for direct publishing of events by member organizations. CRG is developing the prototype for the first phase of the project that will be free and open to local arts and entertainment organizations. It is estimated that the nonprofit arts industry generates more than $166 billion annually in the United States, produces 5.7 million jobs and promotes cultural tourism – a vital ingredient for healthy communities.
