Southern California Association of Governments completes major technology upgrade to better serve its 167 member cities.

CRG is serving as the project manager for a complete overhaul of the technology infrastructure and application environment for the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). SCAG is the largest of nearly 700 councils of government in the United States, functioning as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for six counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura and Imperial and encompasses a population exceeding 15 million persons. The project included upgrades to network infrastructure, information security, line of business applications, personal computers and a new VoIP system. CRG is acting as an independent advisor and managed the RFP process and implementation for 3 separate RFP’s including network infrastructure, enterprise application upgrades, and replacement of all of the Agency’s PCs. In addition CRG is assisting SCAG in personnel planning to improve the skills and services of their IT department.
